Couples looking for a solid stay
The staff here went out of their way to help, like when one of them actually remembered my drink order by the second night, a small thing but it meant a lot🎉. Plus, the bed was incredibly comfortable, like sinking into a cloud after a long day.
It wasn't cheap, but honestly, I found it to be acceptable in the end.

The food scene around Rothbury is a hidden gem! We absolutely loved the globally inspired dishes, particularly at Bewick's Kitchen And Coffee House, famous for their brews and bites. The Railway Hotel added some flair with their hearty meals. On top of that, our room was spacious, and the bed? Total comfort, mate!
But blimey, that shower was a right pickle to handle, and the lighting made it feel like we were in some dodgy horror flick. Plus, navigating two flights of stairs with no lift isn’t exactly the best end to a relaxing stay.

The room was spacious with a lovely Georgian window overlooking the garden. It felt great to unwind in such a comfortable space after exploring. I appreciated the option to dine in the bar area and the pet-friendly atmosphere, which allowed us to include our dog in our stay. Plus, the attention to detail in the food presentation was superb!
